Leading Others

To help themselves

In today's rapidly evolving business environment, managers are facing an array of unprecedented challenges that are testing their leadership capabilities like never before.

The fusion of having to drive more costs efficiencies while fostering team cohesion and driving productivity, demands adaptability and resilience from our managers. Additionally, the heightened focus on mental health, diversity, and sustainability adds layers of responsibility, requiring managers to be empathetic and visionary stewards of their teams and organisations.

Balancing these multifaceted demands while striving for excellence highlights the challenges managers encounter in today's environment.

Recent research from the Global Managers Survey (2024) identified some alarming findings.

Their research showed us that:

  • 75% of managers say they are experiencing stress and burnout.

  • 90% of managers say that supporting their team through challenging life issues is a major part of their role.

  • Over 50% of managers spend up to 5 hours a week providing emotional support to their team.

  • 60% of managers say they have supported a team member with anxiety, depression or mental health issues.

After a number of requests from workplaces, we have designed our ‘Propel Personal Leadership Program’.  We’ve taken 30+ years of experience working with managers and a diverse range of organisations, and created a 1-day open program that will help leaders:

  1. Best create an environment where team members take responsibility for their own personal engagement rather than expecting their leader or organisation to take responsibility for their happiness

  2. Discover if you’re being an authentic leader who positively influences others in a sustainable way

  3. Know how to best support an employee who is suffering from mental health challenges without becoming enmeshed in their journey

  4. Achieve the best return on their involvement in promoting their own personal engagement and resilience

  5. Network and learn from other leaders from a diverse range of organisations.

Who Should Attend?

Our Personal Leadership Development Program is ideal for:

  • Senior leaders seeking to refine their leadership approach and strategies

  • Mid-level managers aiming to enhance their leadership skills

  • Emerging leaders looking to develop their leadership potential

Training dates for 2025 to be announced soon.
